The Story of The Pusheen Blankie
Once upon a time (about 6 months ago), BunnyMeows ordered a Pusheen Blankie from the Pusheen Shop in the USA.
BunnyMeows patiently waited 2 weeks for the order to arrive. She checked the tracking daily through a link provided by the Pusheen store for the USPS (United States Postal Service), because she knew once the package was processed through Canadian Customs it would arrive within 2 days (from previous experience - BunnyMeows had ordered from the store several times in the past).
2 weeks had passed, but the package was never processed through Canadian Customs… and the next time she checked, it said the package had been delivered!
BunnyMeows excitedly hopped to the front door, super happy that her blankie had arrived… but it wasn’t there. So she checked all around the outside of her house. But still no package. She was perplexed!
The next time she checked the tracking, it said the package had been returned to sender.
“Oh no!” BunnyMeows said.
She definitely hadn’t returned it.
BunnyMeows contacted the Pusheen Customer Service ZenDesk. They were just as confused as she was. The ZenDesk told her all sorts of wonkiness was going on with the postal service… and that they believed the package had been lost. They offered BunnyMeows the option of them resending the blankie, or a refund. BunnyMeows took the refund, as she was afraid the same thing would happen again. She went to the pharmacy that day, and bought a purple fuzzy Sherpa blankie instead.
6 months later, BunnyMeows discovered a package she hadn’t ordered at her door. Confused, she opened the package. It was the Pusheen Blankie! She contacted the Pusheen Customer Service ZenDesk to let them know she had received the blankie, and asked if she could pay for the blankie because she wanted to keep it.
The Pusheen Customer Service ZenDesk told her she could keep the blankie for free because of all the trouble, and the length of time it had taken to get to her.
BumnyMeows was super happy about the great customer service she received, not only that time, but when the blankie was lost in the postal system in the first place (who knows whose fault it was - it could have been either the USPS, or Canada Post… but that didn’t matter now). The Pusheen Shop had gained a loyal customer in her.
Gleefully, BunnyMeows wrapped the blankie around her, plopped down on the couch, and decided to write a long and silly story about the whole thing for her friends on TOuk. :grinning:
