Act 1: Story After watching human politics become even more stupidly divisive on top of things like dogs being allowed in restaurants and the existence of eight-million streaming services, God decides it’s time for a bigger, wetter flood. After Ned and Lisa plead with God to spare them, he agrees to give humanity a second chance — by placing a new Garden of Eden in Springfield and making Homer and Marge the new Adam and Eve. But before Homer even has a chance to completely blow it, Burns and his rich industrialist friends move in and start tearing the place up for its natural resources.
