UPDATE. Got a tip to use area move and got the water out. I might try it again to run water to the Niagara Falls.

Hope it doesn't get patched. Try and run river one bit at a time and it won't go near the gorge. Shame the river on the new land side doesn't meet the water in the gorge though, like you can't run river over the beach strip to meet the ocean and make it like a real world river !!

I came to the conclusion, untested as yet, the only way to run river out of the new land and make it look right is to aim to end behind that waterfall on the left . . .

I wish we could run roads across the gorge. SH is my posh part of town and the wooden bridge just doesn't fit.
