- here's that tip for those pesky AT-AT axles explained, in case I wasn't too clear in the description.
This is a screenshot from that LDD software of a 4M axle with stop, but you'll see I've shaded one edge of the stop in red.
Use a sharp knife to cut that off, or file it down at an angle so you could get the tip of a pin or a knife under it and into the angle of the axle itself.
If you want to test / practice, poke it through a beam and put a plain axle bush on the other side or even put it into the frame with that spacer and axle connector, but leave out that 2M axle and that orange peg just to be safe.
Dig the tip of something under where the stop was modified and lever against the frame until the back of the stop is out past the edge of the frame.
You should now be able to get the pin / blade / fingernails behind where the stop remains intact and draw it out fully.
