Too hot out! It’s 30C, but feels like 40C with the humidity. There have been far too many days like this this summer. Thank goodness for a/c! :)I was out at my accupuncture/cupping appointment and it was just oppressive out there. While I was in there, it rained (it must have poured - there were puddles everywhere even tho it’s stoopid hot), but it made no difference in the heat and humidity. Then I had to go to the pharmacy - which is thankfully super close to the chiropractor/accupuncture place. And then to the fancy supermarket (right across the street from the pharmacy). So I had to walk around in it :/ Then it rained for a couple of minutes while I was walking around - but again it didn’t help with the heat or humidity. So glad I’m home and cool now. :)The rain is great, but up near my cottage it’s still really dry. There is a total fire ban up there. And there have been several forest fires in the region - there is one that is sort of close to my cottage, but far enough away - it’s been burning since Saturday, and the firefighters and water bombers have been working hard to try to get it under control. It sounds like they have managed the keep the boundaries the same tho - I’m grateful for what they are doing. Sorry that was so long.
