There is another forest fire near my cottage. This one is quite close to my lake. :(On the cottagers page, people were talking about smelling smoke during the night on Saturday - my sister in law was one of them. She said the smell woke her up. They were trying to figure out if the smell was from someone having a fire (there is a complete fire ban up in cottage country - which means a huge fine if you are having a fire). Then in the morning someone posted about the forest fire near by, so that’s probably what everyone was smelling. :/Luckily, the status is marked as “Being Held” so it’s not spreading.
