While my favourite mantra is " If all else fails, cheat " I don't break rules . . . honest
( the mantra is usually applied if I need a plan B for something like not having the right parts or tools for a job or if the usual method won't work )
I got sick of the bullies at school ( and the kids weren't much better !! ) and pretty much stopped going for the last 2 years - spent a week or so revising and passed my exams without cheating, including A grade maths !?!

Once in fourth grade , when my ADHD inattention during class and my reluctance to do homework and yet scoring 100% on three separate tests got me a visit to the principal’s office. My mom had to come to school and I was set to be expelled. Then my third grade teacher intervened and basically said “put him in a room by himself and have he take the tests again, I did”. So with three teachers sitting around me, I retook the tests, which had been rewritten just to be sure I hadn’t memorized the answers. Passed again. The other time my answers matched too closely with those one the student beside me. When confronted, I simply pointed out that I was the first to finish the test (by like 5 minutes ) and had a 98% to her 87%. Still got detention for a month, which was funny as these were finals and there were only three days left in the school year.
That one in the Finals I'd have been mad thinking she'd been the one copying, but it was probably wise not to say so and look like you were trying to pass the blame.
One French test was multiple choice and a mate of mine didn't even open the questions, just got the answer sheet and picked letters at random - and passed !! :astonished: :joy:
