Soooo I had the second part of my dry eye treatment on Saturday. I forgot to post about it, although the last part of it would have made a great scary Halloween story. :DSo she did the numbing drops, the eye shield - which is for the laser treatment, and the radio frequency treatment thing like she did the first time around. But there was a new step added in at the end of the treatment. *In a spoooky voice* Squeezing the gunky oil (which was soften by the first parts of the treatment) out of the bottom eye lids with a special tool made to do that… :oDid it hurt? Yes. It did a bit. :oThe reason I was thinking about it today? Because part of my right bottom lid (the outer end) is still feeling it. It’s bruised, red and still irritated, and it is hurting a bit. It’s gotten better in the last couple of days. I’m not surprised by it - she said the oil there was more gunky and needed more of a squeeze. Yes. It sounds gross. :/But - it’s working. I started noticing a difference after the first treatment, and am noticing a difference with this one too. :)Aaaaaand the less scary part - I bought this new re-chargeable heated eye mask to help with the hydration and gunky oil issues - they sell them there. (To replace the heat by microwaving one that I have, but rarely use because I hate it). The re-chargeable mask feels amazing! It’s like a little heating pad for my face! (Well, for the eye area). :DDid you really need to know all of this? Probably not! But now you do! *joy*
