It wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be, but I turned my ice cleats on my boots on for extra stability. I love my boots! :grinning:

And my back is still a bit sore, but defo better than it was before. I’m lying on a heating pad to help calm everything down now that everything is back in place :grinning:

BunnyMeows I have no idea what you just said about turning on your boots?!? What is this Canadian magic? Glad your back is feeling better :heart:

^^ I picture little spiked metal inserts in the soles that you can pop up to get a better grip walking on ice . . .

Graham-S is right - they aren’t exactly sharp spikes, but they do dig into the ice for stability. On one side they are just flat and normal boots, but I have a little tool that I can use to flip them to the cleats. It’s pretty neat. :grinning:
