^^ and no matter what decision is made, the majority will oppose it. Indiana will probably pass a law to go back to standard time this fall. (Some counties refused to switch to DST just to be a pita)

^^^What Indiana needs to do is switch from the eastern time zone to the central time zone.

Why not really mess things up and push for a 42 hour clock and a 4 day week - oh, hang on, is that what my body-clock thinks it is ?!! :joy:

Katbird - we would probably follow what you guys do due to business purposes etc - it’s being discussed here. Although, some medical experts think that if we stick to one, it should be standard (I think it has to do with our circadian rhythm).

BunnyMeows, I read an article that said the same thing. Plus, if we stay with daylight savings time, a lot of cities will have sunrise at 9am and later in the winter.

Katbird Indiana is all in the eastern time zone, but the westernmost counties don’t do DST. If the eastern side went to central time the western side would insist on remaining eastern meaning you could drive from east to west and gain an hour until you hit Illinois when you would lose an hour.
