Well, my cell service is down because it’s part of Rogers (I’m on a service called FIDO - which was taken over by Rogers years ago).
And the landline phone has not been connected by the provider (Bell), and my sister has apparently forgotten to follow up with them (she’s had a lot going on the past couple of weeks).
Sooooo… if I want to use a phone I have to go to a neighbour’s. So I guess it’s not too bad.
Thankfully, the internet is also with Bell, so I can be online and watch TV.
But still. I’m with Rogers for home internet and TV. They haven’t said anything about the TV service, so hopefully my dad knows why the internet isn’t working there… because I can’t call and tell him :confused:
Hopefully they will solve this before my sister and fam gets here, but if they don’t, my sister, her girls and my bro in law are on a different cell provider so I can check on my dad then.

It came back up late Friday night/early Saturday morning. Still a bit wonky service tho. :confused:

They believe that equipment malfunctioned (specifically routers) during a software update… which is ironic because there have been known to put out updates (to their customers) that have pretty much nuked the customer’s router. So this time they did it to themselves :joy:
