Can anyone help me.
So I got one of these in the post saying I need to pay £1.50 to pick up an item because the sender didn't pay the full price of postage. Is it real or a scam and the reference number is 2 numbers.

nah, I'm calling shenanigans. Best go straight to your local depot's collection point, and check if they have anything for you. You can pay there and then at the collection point if they do.

oh, and you will need to bring proof of identity....

Going to do that and It does say pay at local store, can't trust paying online.

I agree, I wouldn’t pay online, going to your local depot is your best bet. It’s a pain but at least it will be safe.

I know not to trust text messages or email but from what I've read that the grey card is real though will check tomorrow at post office

These do exist, we used to get them regularly as the wife’s sister couldn’t get her head round large birthday cards needing different stamps so we would have to pay £1.50 twice a year to collect a card that probably cost a pound! again wouldn’t pay online, go to sorting office to collect.

It's probably genuine and paying online o have them re-deliver is probably the easiest way - read this . . . https://personal.help.royalmail.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/143
